The Point of Insanity...

Many people don't understand my life and majors.
They think fashion is about looking pretty and drawing cute clothes.
It's Not! It's more like this....
Monday-Thursday wake up at 5:30 or 6 for class at 8am.
WORK: Mon,Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun.
Sewing every break I get.
At this point most of my sewing in hand stitching.
5 yards of hand rolled hems. (takes days!)
Eat when I remember.
Rarely sleep.
It's about loving what you do.
Having pride in what you create.
Being dedicated to what you aspire to be.
It's about Working hard to get what you want.
Pushing yourself beyond your limits, every single time.
Impressing yourself before you aim to impress others.
This isn't a complaint because I love what I do.
Do I have one of the most expensive majors? Yes.
Do I think I'm insane for doing a double-major? Yes.
Do I wish I could get normal sleep every night? Yes.
Would I give up any part of it? No
I honestly don't know how I do this every day. I go to bed, sleep a few hours and wake up to do it allllllll over again. Thinking about the time I'm taking to write this blog makes me freak out because I know my time should be spent sewing.
I'm a 2.25 semesters away from Graduating with 2 Bachelor degrees!
57 days and 04:45 hours away from my senior fashion show!
6 garments away from completing my collection!
and 5 minutes from hitting the point of insanity!!!!
But I know that everyday gets me closer to where I've always dreamed I'd be.

Sunday Funday...

Sunday 7 March, 2010:
Bryan, Tommy(my dog), and I drove my greatly missed
1993 Toyota truck up to the San Gabriels.
This hike consisted of 2 massive (creepy) tunnels.
The time outside was nice, just me and my boys.
The rain clouds made the mountains look beautiful, like always.
Enjoy the fotos....
Tommy gets more compliments in one day, than I do in a week.

This Yuca was so perfectly round, but I still hate these plants.

This next picture needs an explination:
These tunnels have VERY little light, but with the tiny bit shinning in i could see LOVE written on the wall. It was made out of tiny pieces of tile. I wanted a picture of course.
First picture was without flash, but I realized you couldn't see it.
My second attemp scared Bryan and I.
I turned the flash on, took the picture.
Looked at the picture
AND BAM!!!!!!!!
HATE in red spraypaint.
It made me jump back from the camera screen,
and left me with the feeling like i should turn around and RUN!!

Find Tommy and I!
Lunch Break: Tom was hating like becuase he got dog food and not a PB&J.

To most this picture is trash.
To me, its something that will probably go on my wall.
Reminds me or a perfect dream.

CUUUUUTE!
