Day of Labor

As summer comes to an end I can't help but look back on the great times. I'm thankful that I quit my job because its been amazing to enjoy ever minute of my summer.
Also after 20 years of school, jobs, and internships it's nice to get time to take a real break and figure out what I want in life.
On that note here are some photos from this past Labor Day weekend.
Enjoying the pool with my Mini-Me
Cute as ever
Sammy was jumping from any and all angles of the pool.
Sleeper Crash#1: Sam and I laughing at Bryan that knocked out poolside.
Sleeper Crash#2: Sam laughed so hard when she saw my dad asleep on the hardwood floor.
He claims it makes his back feel great. Sam just found it hilarious, so cute!
Bryan's sad that he's back at school.
I'm so happy I have sweet new shoes.

Eating Internationally

Saturday I drove out to the International Street Fair in Orange, California.
Which should just be renamed to, international food fest.
Although not alot was authentic or very international it was still pretty good.

Besides eating I also love to people watch and photograph random things I see.
Here are highlights from Saturday and a close look at
what's its like to see the day through my eyes. Enjoy!

Livin' the American Dream
Easy on the eyes
I want!
I love brick :)
I saw this couple from far and HAD to photograph them.
Nothing like classic, stylish, and well put together outfits.
It's nice to see people still have a sense of style and quality.
Lemon Brick
Fish Head (note the creep in the back)
"Shoes? F*ck shoes!"
Why dance standing or with shoes on, it's overrated.

I'm Baaaack

That's right, just when you thought Mi Viva Loca was over. I come back from my writers block in full force. I'm sure alot has happened since I last wrote (October 2010) but why write when you can just view photos from special moments since.
Enjoy ladies and Gents!

February 2011:
I started Interning at a showroom and got hired on,
after a month of my internship. I was so excited, life was great!....(To be continued)
Enjoying a brew at work.
May 2011:
I gradumatated!! That's right folks, there's a brain under this sweet looking afro!
Got two bachelor degrees and the determination to conquer the world!
WASTED alert!
I really couldn't have done all those long nights of sewing and minor breakdowns without my amazing boyfriend. He had faith in me from the start and always kept me motivated!
My parents, that came to this country for a better future,
and are now the proud parents to FOUR college graduates.
As an adult I realize how much they sacrificed for us kids, thanks 'Apa y Ama'.
Even the homeboy Ben Walt drove all the way from China just to make an appearance!

June 2011:
After months of my job, I realized I was miserable!
A bitter woman's inability to run a business or
figure out what she wanted, drove me to dread work everyday!
and my desk was AWFUL the last month!
So I QUIT!
It was a great day, I stood up for myself and walked out of there with my head held high.
I cried, I laughed, but most of all I celebrated being FREE!
I loved what I did and my VERY busy schedule, unfortunately my boss was a horrible business owner and beyond immature.

On to bigger and better things :)

Shortly after I quit I went into the mountains and summited Mount Baldy.
Tomster the Monster chillin'
My two fellas! xo
July 2011:
After some sad news of Bryan's grandfather passing we left for Colorado.
Although our trip was under such sad circumstances it was beautiful to be a part of the love of such an amazing family. After so many generations the love of Chris and Laura lives on.

Downtown Denver

August 2011:
After spending 12hours at Disneyland, I'm going to try my best and not let my kids realize this place exist. So exhausting!
Celebrating the ONE YEAR anniversary of our Beach Clean-Up!
Cleaned 1,500lbs+ of trash off the beach in one year!!!!
Celebrated our four year anniversary. Yikes! Time really flew by. I could only hope for many more years of adventures and love.
Cheers to a great relationship and a best friend!
He did most of the paddling :)
I did most of the sitting, photography, and the spotting of critters.
I'm 24 years old! As a kid I thought being in your 20's was old.
Now I'm realizing it's the time of your life.
Celebrated at the Dodger vs. Rockies game.
Dodgers won 6-1!!!

Until next time, thanks for reading!
