No Puedo Dormir...

Title: I can't Sleep...(for you non-bilinguals)

The lack of sleepiness is killing me, every night it gets harder to sleep at a decent time!
I think this will be another scatter brain entry, seeing as how my creativity with this blog has escaped me. Not much has changed since my last boring post.

-Tomorrow I'm off to a water park to celebrate a 24Th Birthday with some drinks and fun people.
-Bryan is still doing the John Muir Trail.
He's been gone since Sep.31st and returns this coming Wed.
I couldn't be happier for him!!
I've missed him since the 2Nd day he left
and it's only gotten worse as time went on.
Him going on this trip has made me so proud and excited.
Proud that he was the will power to do over 220mls with a heavy pack.
Excited about what adventures he's been on and
the things he's learned about himself or the wilderness.

I think being out in the wild is a beautiful thing,
you're left with your thoughts, dreams, and goals.
It allows for your mind to settle and you soul to be free.
It takes hard work and pain to get to camp and
when you get there it's the best thing in the world.
No Internet, no phones, no bills, no jobs.
It's just you and the things that really matter in life.
Love, nature, food, and water.
As for life here at home, without the beautiful mountains.
I think I've done a great job of making the most of it.
Gone out with my ladies, hitting the dog beach with Katrin or Stefanie, and even did a beach cleanup.
Here are some photos of Tommy(my dog) and his bestfriend/girlfriend Domino (Stef's Dog)
Domino is totally IN LOVE with Tommy.

From the looks of things, he loves her back.

and that translates into endless wrestling while throwing sand everywhere.

So far I think I've done a good job of keeping a busy summer with trips, beach time, fun, and relaxation. Coming up is the Grand Canyon, my 3 year Anniversary (YIKES!!), my birthday, and starting my last year of college. Then it's off to try to be a real adult and making my own American Dream.

Buenas Noches!
