Different...

It's really late, or really early in the morning, however you want to look at it. I'm not sleepy, but I'm sick so I wish I was able to sleep. Besides being sick it was an amazing weekend. Filled with people I love to be around. Friday started with my Chem lab, I hurried out to try to get started on my weekend. Friday was my brothers birthday :) my mom baked a cake we all were home so it was nice. While Bryan and I waited for them to get home from work we decided to go on a bike ride. I took him to East L.A. haha yeah we noticed he was the only white guy within 10 miles. This is a place where my parents 1st lived when they were married and raised my brothers for a short time before buying our current home. Anyways, while sitting there eating our ice cream Bryan and I got on the topic about how different our backgrounds are. Even though we are so much alike we grew up so differently. I grew up seeing the world on bus rides through Los Angeles and bums on the streets. That's beside the obvious cultural differences. He never really saw LA like I did until we met. But it's amazing how two people with such different lives could end up so good together. You learn from each other and grow in very many different ways. You see life is such unique ways and really get an inside look on someone understanding of the world. We rode our bikes back home and I'm pretttyyy sure I impressed him with how fast I was riding.(haha i hope...?kidding) Then there was Saturday was also amazing. After sewing for an insane amount of hours, Bryan came over to go mountain biking with my brother, uncle, and friends. (side note: i think it's amazing that they get along soo well) We followed it with an amazing dinner and too much time in front of the TV with my brothers, watching a show we didn't know we would end up liking. That sums up my weekend, chill but always fun :)
